Smethwick Local History Society

We meet at Bearwood Baptist Church which is situated on the corner of Rawlings Road and Bearwood Road in Smethwick, post code B66 4HA.

In 2011, doors will be open from 7.30pm. Society business starts at 8pm. Guest speakers begin at around 8.20, and usually speak for around one hour, followed by a question and answer session.
Please note that from January 2012 meetings will take place in the afternoon, with doors opening at 2.00pm, Society business from 2.30, and the guest speaker from around 2.50pm.

A charge of £1 is made to all attending meetings which goes towards the cost of heating, lighting and speakers' fees.
 
We have activities on the 1st Wednesday of most months (see Programme page).
